Our Goals
Lão Tử: 700 BC |
Our activities are implemented
according to precept of Lão Tử:
Go to the people
Learn from them
Love them!
Start from what they know
Build from what they have
So, when it will be done,
they will say:
We did it ourselves!

Thiện Chí’s key goal is to provide
cost-effective community services based on the spirit of Lão Tử.
We evaluate a community project for a location based on the following
criteria:
1. Poor economic conditions
2. High level of participation from the local community, partners
and government.
3. Long-term sustainability
In addition, if feasible, Thiện Chí will cooperate with the local
government to build learning centers for disabled children and help
create jobs for the poor.

Our Approach
Our management and team directly carry out the programs in close coordination
with the People’s Committees, Agriculture Departments, Education Departments
and Medical Centers of Binh Thuân province.
Prior to the implementation phase, our project team works with the local
authorities to conduct feasibility studies using the “Participatory Rural
Appraisal” (PRA) method. Projects to help women and poor peasant families
with monthly income less than VND 150,000 always receive our higher priority.
For more information, please take a look at the organizational
structure of the programs. See also the latest quarterly
bulletin on the programs. See also our latest video
on how we manage to reduce unemployment.
