Support from AVI
In June 2011, Thiện Chí is very happy to get the support of an Australian volunteer organization abbreviated to AVI to provide computers for some schools in Duc Linh and Tanh Linh districts. This is a continuous achievement of computer sponsorship program that HSBC bank has supported in October 2010
In addition, Thiện Chi is also pleased to receive several other sponsors for poor household and public health programs
Terre d'Oc, model partner
Terre d'Oc was looking for a reliable supplier, and via the Mekong Plus website it heard about Thiện Chí. Terre d'Oc puts the priority to high quality products but also to sustainable development. The first order was for incense sticks, then little incense cones. Later Terre d'Oc added orders for rattan, bamboo items etc. The economic crisis has hit everyone and Terre d'Oc is very keen to maintain employment by diversifying the products, using available natural resources in the Thiện Chí program areas.
As a whole Terre d'Oc has generated over a hundred jobs, the income of the workers have more than doubled. Natural resources are protected: chemicals are strictly regulated, two times more trees are replanted than the quantities used to fulfill the orders...
